MOU Information
MOU Information
This list includes all sites for which GS Waters College of Health Professions currently has an active, fully executed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in place to facilitate student internships and clinical rotations. The list is intended to be used by students as a resource to identify a potential site of interest for their internship hours. For example, a student from Atlanta may wish to locate a site within the Atlanta area. After reviewing the list, students should discuss the options with their program coordinator for planning purposes. Students should NOT contact a site directly.
MOU Request/Renewal Form (Faculty and Staff use only)
Faculty and staff please contact Jennifer Hoopes at 912-344-2565 with any questions regarding the MOU Request/Renewal Form. Students needing access to the form need to contact their clinical coordinator.
Faculty Research Interests

Student Advisory Council
The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology is consistently concerned about students’ experiences, perceptions, ideas and viewpoints regarding their experience in the our programs. The department created the Student Advisory Council in the fall of 2020 as an avenue in which a meaningful exchange of ideas among the department chair, faculty and students from programs within the department can occur.
The Student Advisory Council consists of one representative and one alternate representative from each program within the department. The Student Advisory Council is composed of undergraduate students at the junior or senior level and second year graduate students.
Responsibilities of Representatives
- Attend an orientation to the council conducted by the Chair.
- Attend designated council meetings on a regular basis as defined by the needs, responsibilities, and tasks of the council. In the event a representative cannot attend a meeting, the program alternate will attend the meeting in his/her absence.
- Elicit and convey student views, concerns, opinions, and suggestions at the Council meetings.
